About Kratz Law Office LLC
Experience
With over 14 years of experience, Gregory D. Kratz has handled cases in almost every aspect of the law from real estate transactions to complex litigation and appellate practice. He is licensed in both Nebraska and Kansas and has practiced in many courts and jurisdictions throughout those states. His broad experience has made him comfortable both in the court room and out. Today he focuses his practice on estate and business planning, corporate transactions, and civil litigation. Mr. Kratz has been in the Southeast Nebraska area since 2014 and opened Kratz Law Office LLC in 2024.
Education
Mr. Kratz graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 2009. Prior to that he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He continues to study and take courses to further his knowledge and expertise and provide the best possible services and advice to his clients.
Achievements
Gregory Kratz served in the United States Marine Corps from 2011 to 2020 as an artillery officer and had the honor to serve as Commanding Officer Battery Q, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines from August 2017 until September 2019. He continues to serve in veterans organizations and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3113 and American Legion Post 24 both in Fairbury, Nebraska and the Marine Corps League (Homestead Leathernecks Detachment) in Beatrice, Nebraska.
As an attorney, Mr. Kratz has argued cases before the Nebraska Supreme and the Nebraska Court of Appeals. He has also written briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court. In 2023, he was successful in obtaining a million dollar judgment for his client.
The Kratz Family
Outside of his work as an attorney, Gregory D. Kratz enjoys hunting and fishing, woodworking, and is an avid Husker fan. Gregory and Christie have three boys and they enjoy being a part of Jansen Bible Church.
